Total outsourcing of the entire logistics function
From manufacture to point of delivery according to Client specifications. CAREFUL CARRIERS offer a total transport solution including countrywide delivery, offloading, warehousing, as well as stock and asset management expertise. CAREFUL CARRIERS identifies itself as a logistical partner providing a cost effective savings to both large and small businesses.

Warehousing
Facilities are located in Gauteng, Cape Town and Durban. The Head Office is located in the Lanseria Centre, Randburg, Gauteng. The facility consists of offices, workshops (1000m2), warehousing space of 5000 m2 as well as a 1200m2 undercover drive through loading and handling facility. CAREFUL CARRIERS operates 2 new Linde 2 ton forklifts as well as a 5-ton machine fitted with 2000mm forks for bulk items. Container offloading facilities are also provided.

The branches in Durban (Pinetown) and Cape Town (N1 Kraaifontein) offer warehousing and are equipped with 2-ton forklifts as well as drive through undercover loading and handling facilities.

This service includes stock control, receiving and despatch.

Bonded store facilities are also available.

Stock and asset management
CAREFUL CARRIERS offer stock control at it's Lanseria, Durban and Cape Town depots incorporating receiving, despatch functions and weekly stock reports.

Computerised asset management is also available ensuring assets are not misplaced. CAREFUL CARRIERS has previously asset managed 14000 Pepsi beverage coolers. Reports are provided on a weekly or monthly basis.

Transportation costs are based on volume and not weight i.e. quotations calculated according to deck space utilised.

Offloading on site
Several options are available, according to the Client's requirements - from a condensing pack required on the first floor of a building effected with a crane truck; to offloading refrigerated display cases; and positioning in store according to a specified layout; utilising the hydraulic tail lift; to equipment being lowered down an escalator well utilising crawl beam. This is a countrywide service.

Container offloading
CAREFUL CARRIERS have facilities to offload containers at all of their branches. Bonded store facilities are also available.
